Bio

Joel Jones begins his first season as assistant softball coach at Surry.  Jones brings a wealth of experience including most recently serving as head softball coach at Surry Central High School.  Jones helped lead the Golden Eagles to a berth in the NCHSAA State Playoffs last year after finishing as conference runner-up.  As an assistant coach at Surry Central in 2019, Jones help lead the Lady Eagles to the Mountain Valley Conference Tournament championship.  Jones also has experience coaching travel softball in the area.
